Website analytics and cookies

Your choice

We use Google Analytics only if you select “Accept analytics”. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from browsing, calling us or sending an enquiry. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future Analytics collection from this website and removes its Analytics cookies from your browser; it does not erase information already collected.

What we measure

With your permission, Analytics records page visits, referral sources where available, and clicks on phone, email, WhatsApp and enquiry links. It also receives technical information such as browser and device details and processes your IP address to derive approximate location. We use these reports to understand which sources bring visitors and which pages help people contact us.

A contact-button click is not confirmation that a call, message or enquiry was completed. We do not send the content of your Tradify enquiry, your name, telephone number or job address through our Analytics code. We remove query strings and fragments from page URLs supplied by that code and pass only the referring website’s origin, not its full page address. Advertising storage, Google signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this implementation.

Storage on your device

Your accept or reject choice is saved in browser local storage under khm_analytics_choice_v1 for up to 180 days. This preference is used to remember your choice. When you accept, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_Q54RMFY1K9 cookies to distinguish visits. We configure their expiry at 90 days without automatic renewal. Clearing browser storage removes your saved preference.

Google Analytics and other services

Google processes Analytics information on our behalf. Processing may involve countries outside the UK. See Google’s privacy policy and Google Analytics privacy information.

The enquiry form is provided by Tradify and uses its own service, including spam protection. This analytics choice controls KHM’s Google Analytics tag; it does not control the embedded Tradify form or websites opened through external links. See Tradify’s privacy policy.
